A By-law of the Municipality of the
Town of Pickering to establish a
Museum Advisory Committee.
~=,'% ~ - WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of Section 242 of the
ilMtLnicipal Act, R.S.O0 1970, Chapter 284, ~e Council of every local
municipality may pass such by-law and make such regulations for the
safety, morality and welfare of the inhabitants of the

"', NOW T~EREFOR~ the Council of the Town of Picketing enacts
follows:
1, A Committee shall be established to be known as the Town
of Pickering Museum Advisory Committee.
2. The Town of Pickering Museum Advisory Committee shall
~..;, : advise Council in matters of establishment, management and
maintenance of museums within the Town of Pickering.

Being a by-law to appoint David Farr to
the Town of Picketing Museum Advisory Committee
WHEREAS pursuant to By-law 563/77, a committee shall be established to be
known as the Town of Pickering Museum Advisory Conmittee; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to appoint another person to this commit-
tee;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That section 9 of By-law 2972/88 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
(k) David Farr to November 30, 1991
BY-LAW PASSED a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th
day of October, 1989.
