BY-LAW NO. 3175 /89
Being a by-law to appoint Mayor Wayne Arthurs
as the Town's representative on the Politicians
Advisory Caucus of the Metropolitan Toronto Solid
Waste Environmental Assessment Plan Public
Participation Program.
WHEREAS pursuant to section 73(c) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302,
it is the duty of the Mayor to communicate to the Council from time to time such
information and recommend to it such measures as may tend to the improvement of the
finances, health, security, cleanliness, comfort and ornament of the municipality; and
WHEREAS the Council of the municipality of Metropolitan Toronto on May 10, 1989,
invited each Durham Region Area Municipality Council to nominate a representative to
the Politicians Advisory Caucus of the Metropolitan Toronto Solid Waste Environmental
Assessment Plan Public Participation Program;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Mayor Wayne Arthurs is hereby appointed as the Town's representative to
the Politicians Advisory Caucus of the Metropolitan Toronto Solid Waste
Environmental Assessment Plan Public Participation Program.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 5th day of June,
1989.
