BY-LAW NUMBER 3171/89
Being a by-law to appoint Brian Reel
to the Town of Pickerin9 Public Library Board
Whereas pursuant to section 9 of the Public Libraries Act, S.O. 1984,
c.57, as amended, where a vacancy arises in the membership of a board,
the appointing council shall promptly appoint a person to fill the
vacancy and to hold office for the unexpired term; and
Whereas a vacancy has occurred on the Town of Pickerin9 Public Library
Board effective immediately;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That section 13 of By-law Number 2122/85 is hereby amended by
deleting as follows:
c) Pamela Reid
and substituting thereto the following:
c) Brian Reel
By-law Read a first, second and third time and finally Passed this 5th
day of June, 1989.
