HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3127/89 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3127/89 Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 3821/70 regulating and prohibiting noises likely to disturb the inhabitants of the Town of Pickering Whereas, pursuant to the predecessor of Section 210-132 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c. 302, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, of which the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is the successor, enacted By-law 3821/70 regulating and prohibiting certain noises; Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: 1. Section 1 of By-law Number 3821/70 is hereby revoked and the following substituted therefor: 1. No person shall operate machinery within the Town of Pickerin9 for the purpose of the construction or excavation of buildings, the operation of which creates noise or noises that disturb or are likely to disturb inhabitants of the Town at any time or times, a) between midnight and 7:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday, both inclusive, b) between 7:00 p.m. and midnight, Monday through Saturday, both inclusive, or c) on Sundays. By-law read a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 1st day of May, 1989. Mayor Clerk
