BY-LAW NUMBER 3032/89
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 2972/88
to appoint persons to various agencies/boards
and committees
Whereas by By-law Number 2972/88 enacted on December 19, 1988, six persons
were appointed to the Public Library Board; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to appoint two persons nominated by the
Durham Board of Education and one person nominated by the Durham Region
Roman Catholic Separate School Board pursuant to the Public Libraries Act;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby
enacts as follows:
1. Section 16 of By-law Number 2972/88 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
g) Ron Sproule
h) Dr. John Gilmour
i) Margaret D'Souza
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day
of February, 1989.
