BY-LAW NUMBER 2972/8A
Being a by-law to appoint persons to
various agencies, boards and committees.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is
required by certain provincial statutes to appoint persons to certain
local boards and committees; and
WHEREAS the Council has estabTished various local boards and committees
which require the appointment of persons thereto;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:

The following persons are hereby appointed Acting Mayor:
(a) Councillor M. Brenner from December 1, 1988 to May 3b, 1989,
(b) Councillor B, Mitchell from June 1, 1989 to November 30, 1989.
(c) Councillor K. Van Kempen from December l, 1989 to May 3�, 1990.
(d) Councillor D. Dickerson from June 1, 1990 to November 30, 1990.
(e) Councillor R. Johnson from December 1, 1990 to May 3p, 1991.
(f) Councillor Morgan from June 1, 1991 to November 30, 1991.
The following person is hereby appointed to the Ajax/Pickering
Hospital Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1989:

The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Pickering
Cemetery Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1991:

19. The remuneration payable to a Member of the Committee of Adjustment
shall be �50.00 per meeting.
20. The remuneration payable to a Livestock Valuer shall be �50.00 per
inspection.
