BY-LAW NUMBER 2957 /88
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 55/74
prohibiting heavy traffic on Hillview Crescent
Whereas pursuant to section 210.117 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.
302, as amended, by-laws may be passed by the councils of local
municipalities for prohibiting heavy traffic as defined in the by-law
subject to the Highway Traffic Act; and
Whereas i t i s deemed expedi ent to amend By-1 aw 55/74 to prohi bi t heavy
traffic on Hillview Crescent;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
Hereby Enacts as follows:
1. Section 2 of By-law Number 55/74, as amended, is hereby futher
amended by adding thereto the following:
HIGHWAY FROM TO
Hillview Crescent Oklahoma Drive Park Crescent
2. This By-law shall not take effect until approved by the Regional
Municipality of Durham.
By-law Read a first, second and third time and finally Passed this 28th
day of November, 1988.
