BY-LAW NUMBER2939 /88
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 55/74
prohibiting heavy traffic on Krosno Boulevard,
Alyssum Street and Parkham Crescent
Whereas pursuant to section 210.117 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.
302, as amended, by-laws may be passed by the councils of local
municipalities for prohibiting heavy traffic as defined in the by-law
subject to the Highway Traffic Act; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 55(74 to prohibit heavy
traffic on Krosno Boulevard between Bayly Street and Liverpool Road and
on Alyssum Street and Parkham Crescent;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
Hereby Enacts as follows:
1. Section 2 of By-law Number 55/74, as amended, is hereby futher
amended by adding thereto the following:

7his By-1aw shall not take effect until approved by the Regional
Municipality of Durham.
By-law Read a first, second and third time and finally Passed this l7th
day of October, 1988.
