Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 1560j82
to provide for the licensing, registration and
regulation of dogs, and for the determination of
the compensation to be allowed for impounding,
distraining and detaining of dogs
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted II
By-law Number 1560J82 on September 20, 1982 to provide for the licensing, I,'
registration and regulation of dogs and for the determination of the
compensation to be allowed for impounding, distraining and detaining of
dogs; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to amend that By-law to provide a '
differential licence fee for spayed and neutered dogs;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:
1. Subsection (4) of Section 2 of By-law Number 1560/82 is hereby
deleted and the following is substituted therefor:
(4) The fee payable for a dog licence shall be ten dollars (E10.00)
for a spayed or neutered dog and twenty dollars (E20.00) for all
other do9s and said fee shail be payable at the time of the
issuing of the licence.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 17th
day of October, 1988.

By-law Number 1560182 on September 20, 19B2 to provide for the licensing,
registration and regulation of dogs and for the determination of the
compensation to be allowed for impounding, distraining and detaining of
dogs; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to amend that By-law to provide a
differential licence fee for spayed and neutered dogs;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:

for a spayed or neutered dog and twenty dollars (�20.00) for all
