WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 49(7) of the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, chapter 1, the council of a municipality may by by-law provide that section 49(5) of the Act does not apply to certain lands within a plan of subdivision des- ignated in the by-law; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. 2. Section 49(5) of the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, chapter 1, does not apply to the lands described as follows: Lot 26, Plan 40M-1552, Pickering. This by-law shall not come into effect until approved by the Regional Municipal- ity of Durham.
