BY-LAW NO. �P84/88
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of
Transfers from John Boddy Develop ments Ltd. to
The Corporation of the Town of Pickering re-
specting storm sewer easements in and adjacent to
Plans 40M-1466 and 40M-1467, Pickering.
WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Pickering requires storm sewer easements
in and adjacent to Plans 40M-1466 and 40M-1467, Pickering, for the purpose of drain-
ing storm water, and pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, a municipal council may pass by-laws for acquiring inter-
ests in lands;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer/Deed
of Land, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, from John Boddy
Developments Ltd. to The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, respect-
ing storm sewer easements over Part Lot 35, Plan 40M-1466, Pickering
(Parts 1 and 2, Plan 40R-10283).
2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer/Deed
of Land, in the form attached hereto as Schedule B, from John Boddy
Developments Ltd. to The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, respect-
ing storm sewer easements over Part Lots 36, 77-78 and 162-167, Plan
40M-1466, Pickering (Parts 3, 4, 6 and 8-13, Plan 40R-10283).
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer/Deed
of Land, in the form attached hereto as Schedule C, from John Boddy
Developments Ltd. to The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, respect-
ing storm sewer easements over Part Lots 7 and 8, Plan 40M-1467, Picker-
ing (Parts 1 and 2, Plan 40R-10284),
4. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer/Deed
of Land, in the form attached hereto as Schedule D, from John Boddy
Development Ltd. to The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, respect-
ing a storm sewer easement over Lot 33, Plan 1051, Pickering (Part 15,
Plan 40R-10284).
BY-LAW read a First, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day of
September, 1988.
