SY-LAW NO. 2863/88
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2787/88 to delete
the holding symbol, and related text therefrom.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, chapter
1. sections 34 and 35, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering
enacted on May 24, 2988, Zoning By-taw 2787/88, rezoning certain lands in Lot 18,
Concession 2, Pickering, and imposing a holding symbol thereon; and
WHEREAS the preconditions set out in section 5(2) (c) of By-law 2787/88 to an
amendment to remove the holding symbol have been met or waived;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section 5(2) of By-law 2787/88, amending Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law
3036, is hereby repealed.
2. Schedule I to By-law 2787/88 is hereby amended by removing the "(H)" holding
symbol preceding the use designation "DN" thereon.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this llth day of
August, 1988.
