HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2788/88 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 2788/88 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham in Part of Lots 5 and 6, Plan 329, in the Town of Picketing. (A 24/86) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing deems it desirable to permit the establishment of three detached residential dwelling units on the subject property, each on a lot having a minimum frontage of 18.0 metres; AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. BY-LAW 3036 By-law 3036, passed by the Council of the Corporation of the Township (now Town) of Plckering on the 3rd day of August 1965, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on the 7xh day of October~ 1966~ and amended from time to time, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of Section 2 hereof. 2. SCHEDULE AMENDMENT Schedule 'A' of By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing from "A' (Rural Agricultural Zone) and "02" (Public and Private Open Space Zone) to "R3" (One-Family Detached Dwelling - Third Density Zone) the zone designation of the lands designated "R3" on Schedule I attached hereto being Part of Lots 3 and 6, Plan 329. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board~ if required.
