HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2837/88 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 2837/88 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 2349/87, which amended Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham, in Part of Lot 21, Concession I (Parts I to 23, Plan t~0R-10070) in the Town of Picketing. (A 7.$/87) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering passed By-law 2349/87, amending By-law 3036, as amended, to permit the development of residential condominium apartments and an office building on the subject lands being Part of Lot 21, Concession I (Parts I to 23, t~0R-10070); AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the '[own of Pickering now deems it desirable to amend By-law 23t49/87 to increase the maximum gross leasable floor area and reduce the minimum parking stall size for the lands to be used for office purposes, and make minor corrective revisions to the boundary dimensions on the by-law schedules for the subject lands, NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. SCHEDULE AMENDMENT Schedules I and III of By-law 2349/87 are hereby revoked and Schedules I and II1 attached hereto substituted therefor. 2. TEXT AMENDMENT (l) Section 5(2)(b)(iv) of By-law 23t~9/87 is hereby revoked and the following substituted therefor: (iv) GROSS LEASEABLE FLOOR AREA (maximum): 5,678 square metres (2) Section 5(2)(b)(v)A of By-law 2349/87 is hereby revoked and the following substituted therefor; A For the purpose of this clause "parking space" shall mean a usable and accessible area of not less than 2.6 metres in width and not less than 5.3 metres in length for the temporary parking of vehicles, but shall not include any portion of a parking aisle or driveway; 3. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
