BY-LAW NO. 276~/88
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of five
Transfers of Land to provide for the re-design of
the future Alliance Road/Bay]y Street intersection
(Part Lot 20, Concession 1, Pickerlng; Parts 3,
5, B, 15, 16 and 17, Plan 40R-10167 and Part 1,
40R-11090).
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 193 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, c. 302, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickerlng may dispose of
land owned by it when no longer required; and
WHEREAS, as a result of a re-design by the Regional Municipality of Durham of the
future Alliance Road/Bayly Street intersection, certain lands in Lot 20, Concession 1,
Picketing, are no longer required by the Town;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute:
(a) a Transfer in the form attached hereto as Schedule A of that part of Lot
20, Concession 1, Picketing, designated as Part 3, Plan 40R-10167, from
The Corporation of the Town of Pickering to Tornat Developments Inc.
(b) a Transfer in the form attached hereto as Schedule B of that part of Lot
20, Concession 1, Pickering, designated as Part 16, Plan 40R-10167, from
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing to Spinoni Developments Limit-
ed.
(c) a Transfer in the form attached hereto as Schedule C of that part of Lot
20, Concession 1, Pickering, designated as Parts 8 and 17, Plan
40R-10167, from The Corporation of the Town of Picketing to The Region-
al Municipality of Durham.
(d) a Transfer in the form attached hereto as Schedule D of that part of Lot
20, Concession 1, Pickering, designated as Parts 5 and 15, Plan
40R-10167, from The Corporation of the Town of Pickering to The Region-
al Municipality of Durham.
(e) a Transfer in the form attached hereto as Schedule E of that part of Lot
20, Concession l, Pickerlng, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-11090, from
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing to The Regional Municipality of
Durham.
disposing, in each case, of the lands described therein to an abutting owner
for nominal consideration in order to effect a re-design of the future Alliance
Road/Bayly Street intersection.
2. Schedules A, B, C, D and E attached hereto form part of this by-law.

The Corporation of the Town of Pickering to The Regional Municipality of
Durham.
