BY-LAW NUMBER 2742/88
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 2663/88
to amend the Town of Pickering Municipal Code
to adopt the 1988 estimates of all sums required
during the year for the purposes of the Municipality
of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, and
to provide for the levying of the rates resulting
therefrom and to levy the rates necessary to cover
the estimated 1988 levy from the Council of the
Corporation of the Regional Municipality
of Durham.
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted
By-law Number 2663/88 on February 1, 1988 to adopt the 1988 estimates of
all sums required during the year for the purposes of the Municipality of
the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, and to provide for the levying
of the rates resulting therefrom and to levy the rates necessary to cover
the estimated 1988 levy from the Council of the Corporation of the
Regional Municipality of Durham; and
Whereas the 1987 assessment roll for 1988 taxation has been returned and
adjustments to the assessment figures in By-law Number 2663/88 are
necessary;
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
Hereby Enacts as follows:
1. Sections 2210.10 and 2210.11 of the Town of Pickering Municipal
Code, as amended by By-law Number 2367/88, are hereby deleted and
the following substituted therefor:
