BY-LAW NUMBER 2619/87
Being a by-law to amend By-law 264/75
to establish the speed limit on Fairport
Road at 40 kilometres per hour
WHEREAS By-law 264/75 allows Council to authorize speed limits on highways
under the jurisdiction of the Town of Pickering; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on Fairport
Road at 40 kilometres (25 miles) per hour;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "B" of By-law 264/75, is hereby amended by adding the
following:
Fairport Road
Kingston Road
(Kings Highway
No. 2)
Finch Avenue
(Durham Regional
Road 37)
This by-law shall take effect upon approval by the Regional Municipality
of Durham.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and PASSED this IBth day
of November 1987.
