BY-LAW NO. 5794/01
Being a by-law to appoint Hans Van Leeuwen to
the City of Pickering Public Library Board
WHEREAS pursuant to the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, Council shah appoim one person
to the local public library board on the recommendation of the local separate school board; and
WHEREAS the Durham Catholic District School Board, in a resolution passed on December 18,
2000, has recommended the appointment of Hans Van Leeuwen to the City of Pickering Public
Library Board;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Hans Van Leeuwen is hereby appointed to the City of Picketing Public Library Board for
a term to expire on November 30, 2003.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 5th day of February, 2001.
