BY-LAW NO. 5645/00
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2366/87,
designating sections of Major Oaks Road, Blue
Ridge Crescent and Wildwood Crescent as
through highways.
WHEREAS, section 1(1) of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter H.8, defines "through
highways" as a highway or part of a highway designated as such by the Minister or by by-law of
a municipality and provides that every such highway shall be marked by a stop sign or yield sign
or yield right-of-way sign in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry; and
WHEREAS By-Law 2366/87, as amended, provides for the designation of certain highways in
the Town of Pickering as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to further amend By-Law 2366/87;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Schedule A to By-Law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting the
following:

Schedule A to By-Law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further amended to include the
