Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers

WHEREAS pursuant to section 15(I) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 15, as
amended, a municipal council may appoint persons to enforce the by-laws of the municipality;
and
WHEREAS pursuant to section 15(2) of the said Act, municipal by-law enforcement officers are
peace officers for the purpose of enforcing municipal by-laws;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The following persons be hereby appointed as a municipal law enforcement officers in
and for the City of Picketing in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law
2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law and is hereby
authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as:
a) 1735 Walnut Lane:
Tim Daley
1210 Radom St., 1958 Rosefield Road, 580 Eyer Dr., 1880/1890 Valley Farm Road,
1525/35 Diefenbaker and 1530/40 Pickering Parkway, 1400 The Esplanade, Casitas,
1625 Picketing Parkway, 925 Bayly Street, 1822 White's Road, Amberlea Plaza,
1360 Glenanna Road, 1975 Rosefield Road, 1655 Pickering Parkway, 1635 Pickering
Parkway and 1235 Radom St.:
Jen Galo
Kathy Edwards
Diane Turner
JeffCleeves
Harley Fearon
The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1,
and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1.

These appointments shall expire upon the person listed in section 1 a) hereof ceasing to
be associated with The Townhomes of Walnut Lane and the persons listed in section 1 b)
hereof ceasing to be an agent of Group 4 C.P.S. Limited or Group 4 C.P.S. Limited
ceasing to be an agent of 1210 Radom St., 1958 Rosefield Road, 580 Eyer Dr.,
1880/1890 Valley Farm Road, 1525/35 Diefenbaker and 1530/40 Pickering Parkway,
1400 The Esplanade, Casitas, 1625 Pickering Parkway, 925 Bayly Street, 1822 White's
Road, Amberlea Plaza, 1360 Glenanna Road, 1975 Rosefield Road, 1655 Picketing
Parkway, 1635 Pickering Parkway and 1235 Radom St., or whichever shall occur first.
By-law 5555/99 be amended by deleting Ronald Rae fi:om enforcing the by-law at 905
Bayly St., 1915 Denmar Rd., 1310 Fieldlight Blvd., 1345 Altona Rd.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 20th day of March, 2000.
