HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4060/92 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4050/02 Being a By-law to adopt Amendment Number 77 to the District Plan for the Town of Pickering WHEREAS pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.p.13, subsections 17(6) and 21(1), the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing may by by-law adopt amendments to the District Plan for the Town of Picketing, being an official plan, and submit them to the Minister of Municipal Affairs for approval; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOII OWS: 1. Amendment Number 77 to the District Plan for the Town of Pickering, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and including the Explanatory Text, is hereby adopted. 2. The Clerk of the Town of Pickering is hereby authorized and directed to submit Amendment Number 77 to the District Plan for the Town of Pickering to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs for approval. 3. This By-law shall come into force and take effect on the day of the final passing hereof. By adding clause 3.B.(e) as follows: (e) The Local Central Area designated at the northeast corner of Kingston Road and ¥~lley Farm Drive, shall be restricted to a maximum gross leasable floor area of approximately 7,155 square metres. Furthe.rmore, the retail commercial component shall be restncted to a maximum gross leasable floor area of approximately 4,.300 square metres. 3. By amending Schedule m-A of the Livarpooi Comm,mlty Plan as indicated on Schedule 'A' attached to this Amendment. IMPLEblRNTATION: The provisions set forth in the Town of Pickerin.~ District Pbtn, as amended, regarding the implementation of the rtan shall apply in regard to this Amendment. INTERPRETATION: The provisions set forth in the Tow~. of P. ickering District Plan, .as amended, r.egarding the interpretauon ot the Plan shall apply tn regard to thts Amendment.
