HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4052/92 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4052/92 Being a by-law to appoint a By-law Enforcement Officer for certain purposes {Parking Regulation - 1975 Rosefield DCC #58 and 1235 Radom Street OCC #11 Whereas pursuant to the provisions of section 70 of the Police Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 381, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The following person is hereby appointed as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer in and for the Town of Pickering and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1975 Rosefield Road DCC #58, and 1235 Radom Street OCC #11, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law: Malcolm Grey 2. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1. 3. This appointment shall expire upon those persons appointed in Section 1 hereof ceasing to be an employee of the Meadowvale Security Guard Services Inc. ceasing to be an authorized agent of Durham Condominium Corporation #58 and Ontario Condominium Corporation #11 whichever shall occur first. By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 29th day of June, 1992. M~or/ ~
