BY-LAW NO. 402~4/92
Being a by-law to amend By-/aw 55/74 prohibiting heavy
traffic on Edmund Drive and Steeple Hill.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the predecessor of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. M.45, s.210.123, the
Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted By-law 55/74 for prohibiting heavy traffic
on the highways;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule 2 of By-law 55/74, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the
following items:
Edmund Drive from Sheppard Avenue to Steeple Hill
Steeple Hill from Edmund Drive to Highway Number 2
2. This By-law shall not come into force unless it is approved by the Council of The Region~
Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Regional Municipalities Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. R.8,
s.34.
