BY-LAW NUMBER 3987/92
Being a by-law to amend By-law 264/75
to establish a 40 kilometre per hour
speed limit on Waterford Gate, Oakburn
Street and Valleyview Drive.
Whereas By-law 264/75 allows Council to authorize speed limits on
highways under the jurisdiction of the Town of Pickering; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on
Waterford Gate, Oakburn Street and Valleyview Drive at 40 kilometres
per hour;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION DF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 264/75 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
FROM TO
Oakburn Street Lawson Street Pine Grove Avenue
Valleyview Drive Waterford Gate North Terminus
Waterford Gate Altona Road Oakburn Street
2. This by-law shall take effect upon approval by the Regional
Municipality of Durham.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this
4th day of May, 1992.
