BY-LAW NUMBER 3919/92
Being a by-law to appoint an Inspector for
the enforcement of the Building Code Act
Whereas pursuant to section 312) of the Building Code Act, R.S.O. 1990,
chapter B.13, the Council of a municipality shall appoint such inspectors
as are necessary for the purposes of the enforcement of the Act in the
areas in which the municipality has jurisdiction; and
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted
By-law Number 3855/91 on October 7, 1991 to provide for the
administration and enforcement of the Ontario Building Code with the Town
of Pickering; and
Whereas Timothy J. Moore has been hired as the Building and Plumbing
Services Manager and it is appropriate that he be appointed as an
inspector for the purposes of the enforcement of the Ontario Building
Code;
Now Therefore The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
hereby enacts as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law Number 3855/91 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
6. Inspector Timothy J. Moore
2. This by-law shall take effect on January 6, 1992.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 20th
day of January, 1992.
