HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3917/92 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3917/92 Being a by-law to appoint persons to various agencies, boards and committees WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is required by certain provincial statutes to appoint persons to certain local boards and committees: and WHEREAS the Council has established various local boards and committees which require the appointment of persons thereto; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: 1. The following persons are hereby appointed Acting Mayor: Councillor Brenner from December 1, 1991 to November 30, 1992. Councillor Van Kempen from December 1, 1992 to November 30, 1993. Councillor Johnson from December 1, 1993 to November 30, 1994. 2. Councillor Wellman is hereby appointed to the Ajax/Pickering Hospital Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. 3. The fol)o~ving persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Pickering Cemetery Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Committee of Adjustment for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. Susan Archer Bob Bhuta Dianne Kerr Michael Puterbough Cathy Scorer 5. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Pickering Community Centres Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1994: Mayor Arthurs Councillor Brenner Councillor Higdon Councillor Johnson Councillor Pistritto Councillor Van Kempen Councillor Wellman 6. The following persons are hereby appointed as Fenceviewers for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. R. J. Baird John Howes Diane Leslie 2 7. The following persons are hereby appointed as Livestock Valuers for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. John Laider Vern Mason 8. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Museum Advisory Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Property Standards Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1994: Cheryle Arnott Bill Weston Paul White 14. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Picketing, Ajax and Whitby Joint Animal Control Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1994. Councillor Hidgon Bruce Taylor (Staff Advisor) 15. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Pickering Public Library Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1994: Mayor Arthurs Jacqueline Smart Joyce Bennett Angela Kirby Jill Campbell-Foster P. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Site Plan Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1992: Councillor Johnson Councillor Wellman 17. Councillor Higdon is hereby appointed to the Social Development Council for a term to expire on November 30, 1994: 18. The remuneration payable to a Member of the Committee of Adjustment shall be $52.50 per meeting. 20. The remuneration payable to a Livestock Valuer shall be $50.00 per inspection. By-law 2972/88 is hereby repealed. BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 20th day of January, 1992.
