BY-LAW NO. 5622/00
Being a by-law to terminate By-law Enforcement Officers
from enforcing the Parking By-law at DCC//19, 1210
Radom St.; #51, 1958 Rosefield Rd.;//52, 580 Eyer Dr.;
//93/106, 1880/1890 Valley Farm Road;//136, 1525/35
Diefenbaker and 1530/40 Picketing Parkway; #139, 1400
The Esplanade, Casitas;//152, 1525 Pickering Parkway;
#32, 1360 Glenarma Road; #58, 1975 Rosefield Rd.; #107,
1655 Pickering Parkway;//145, 1635 Pickering Parkway;
OCC #2, 925 Bayly St.;//11, 1235 Radom St. and 1822
White's Road, Amberlea Plaza.
WHEREAS pursuant to section 150) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 15, as
amended, a municipal council may appoint or terminate persons to enforce the by-laws of the
municipality; and
WHEREAS pursuant to section 15(2) of the said Act, municipal by-law enforcement officers are
peace officers for the purpose of enforcing municipal by-laws;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The following persons be hereby terminated as municipal law enforcemem officers in and
for the City of Pickering upon lands municipally known as DCC #19, 1210 Radom St.;
//51, 1958 Rosefield Rd.;//52, 580 Eyer Dr.;//93/106, 1880/1890 Valley Farm Road;
//136, 1525/35 Diefenbaker and 1530/40 Pickering Parkway;//139, 1400 The Esplanade,
Casitas; #152, 1525 Picketing Parkway; #32, 1360 Glenanna Road; #58, 1975 Rosefield
Rd.;//107, 1655 Pickering Parkway; #145, 1635 Picketing Parkway; OCC//2, 925 Bayly
St.;//11, 1235 Radom St.; and 1822 White's Road, Amberlea Plaza:
Feldcamp, Cam
Haight, Claudette
Hutchinson, Mark
Smits, Linda
Westwood, Jason
2. These terminations shall take effect immediately.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21st day of February, 2000.
