HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4363/93 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4363/93 Being a by-law to appoint a By-law Eaforcement Officer for certain purposes (Parking Regulation) Pickering Town Centre, 1355 Kingston Road. Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, chapter PI5, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: I. The following person is hereby appointed as a by-law enforcement officer in and for the Town of Picketing and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1355 Kingston Road - Picketing Town Centrein in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law: Robert Town 2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically [imited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section I. 3. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in Section I hereof ceasing to be an employee of J.DS. Investments Ltd. or upon J.DS. Investments Ltd. ceasing to be an owner of The Picketing Town Centre, 1355 Kingston Road, whichever shall occur first. 4. By-law 4353/93 is hereby amended by deleting Doug Fitzgerald as By-law Enforcement Officer. By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6thday of Decembt993. Clerk
