HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4353/93 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4353/93 Being a by-law to appoint a By-law Enforcement Officer for certain purposes (Parking Regulation): Pickering Town Centre. Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The following persons are hereby appointed as by-law enforcement officers in and for the Tow~ of Pickering and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally kno~rn as Pickering Town Centre, 1355 Kingston Road, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law: Roger Desrochers Doug Fitzgerald 3. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1. 4. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in Section 1 hereof ceasing to be an employee of 3.D.S. Investments Limited or upon J.D.S. Investments Limited ceasing to be an authorized agent of Pickering Town Centre, whichever shall occur first.
