HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4352/93 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4352/93 Being a by-law to appoint a By-law Enforcement Officer for certain purposes (Parking Regulation): Durham Condominium Corporation ~106, Durham Condominium Corporation #63. Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The following persons are hereby appointed as by-law enforcement officers in and for the Town of Picketing and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1880 Valley Farm Road-DCC #106, 1890 Valley Farm Road-DCC #63, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law: #6578 Commissionaire Joseph G. Kiomall #6637 Commissionaire John McArdle #6632 Commtssionaire David Ross #6516 Commtssionaire Earle W. Snowden 3. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1. 4. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in Section 1 hereof ceasing to be an employee of The Canadian Corps of Commtssionaires or upon The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires ceasing to be an authorized agent of Durham Condominium Corporation #106 and Durham Condominium Corporation #63, whichever shall occur first. By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of November 1993.
