HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4283/93 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF P~C~$RING BY-LAW NUMBER 4283/93 Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation: 1735 Bayly Street Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The following person is hereby appointed as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer in and for the Town of Pickering and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1735 Bayly Street, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law: Allan Rutherford 2. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1. 3. This appointment shall expire upon those persons appointed in Section 1 hereof ceasing to be an employee of Bri-Jan Holdings Limited or upon Bri-Jan Holdings Limited ceasing to be the landlord of Brock Industrial Park, 1735 Bayly Street, whichever shall occur first.
