BY-LAW NO. 4278/93
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1416/82 providing for
the regulation and licensing of places of amusement
(Bayly Street).
WHEREAS, pursuant to the predecessor of section 236.6 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap.
M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-law 1416/82 providing for
the regulation and licensing of places of amusement; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to amend By-law 1416/82 to lift a prohibition against the location of places
of amusement on land abutting a certain portion of Bayly Street in the Town of Picketing;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The title "Schedule 'B' to By-law 1416/82, Part 2, Parts of Highways" in the schedule to
By-law 1416/82, as made by By-law 1453/82, is hereby redesignated "Schedule 'A' to By-law
1416/82, Part 2, Parts of Highways".
2. Item 2 of Part 2 of Schedule A of By-law 1416/82, as amended, is hereby amended by deleting
Part (a) from it and adding the following Parts to it:
(aa) North half between the Ajax boundary and a point 96 metres west of Salk Road
(ab) North half between a point 197 metres west of Salk Road and a point 115 metres east of
Liverpool Road
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 28th day of June, 1993.
