BY-LAW NO. 4218/93
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an
Employment Severance Agreement between Noel C.
Marshall, Town Manager, and The Corporation of the
Town of Picketing.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of sections 207.45, 207.46, 207.47, 207.48 and 207.49 of the
Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering
may pass by-laws for providing various forms of remuneration, pensions, benefits and insurance for
non-union municipal employees and retired non-union municipal employees; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the predecessors of those sections, on August 8, 1991, the Council enacted
By-law 3801/91, providing for such matters for municipal non-union employees and retired non-union
municipal employees; and
WHEREAS the Council wishes to recognize Noel Marshall's twenty-nine and a half year's of service to
the Town and its predecessor, The Corporation of the Township of Picketing;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Employment Severance Agreement,
in the form attached to the Confidential Report of the Town Solicitor dated April 22, 1993 and
numbered Report LAI/93, between Noel C. Marshall and The Corporation of the Town of
Picketing.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 3rd day of May, 1993.
