HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5617/00THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 5617/00 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended by By-law 5412/98, to implement the Official Plan of the City of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham in Part of Lot. 74, Plan 1051 (Parts 1 & 2, Plan 40R-19069) in the City of Picketing. (A 21/99) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the City of Picketing deems it desirable to rezone the subject lands, being Part of Lot 74, Plan 1051 (Parts 1 & 2, Plan, 40R-19069), City of Picketing; AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 5412/98 is therefore deem&l necessary; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 0 TEXT AMENDMENT By-law 5412/98 is hereby amended by adding paragraph A to section 5(1)(b)(iv) as follows: A Despite the provisions of Section 5(1)(b)(iv) above, on the lands cross hatched on Schedule 'T' the minimum north side yard width shall be 0.6 metres and, the minimum south side yard width shall be 2 metres. SCHEDULE 'T' AMENDMENT Schedule 'T' to By-law 5412/98 is hereby further amended by adding thereto those lands being Part of Lot 74, Plan 1051, further described as Parts 1 & 2, Plan 40R-19069, and extending thereon, the "S3-7" (Detached Dwelling Residential Zone) zone category, and cross hatching. Accordingly, Schedule "I" to By-law 5412/98 is replaced with Schedule "I" attached hereto. BY-LAW 5412/98 By-law 5412/98 is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as set out in Section 1 and 2 above, and as set out in Schedule I attached hereto. Definitions and subject matter not specifically dealt with in this By-law shall be governed by the relevant provisions of By-law 3036, as amended. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required. Taylor City Clerk FROM: Tyler Barnett Planner 1 Draft Amending By-law for Zoning By-law Amendment Application A 21/99 Lot 74, Plan 1051 (East side of Falconwood Way, south of Bonita Avenue) City of Pickering On February 14, 2000, Executive Committee recommended approval of Zoning By-law Amendment Application A 21/99 to permit one detached dwelling on a lot with a 22.86-metre frontage on the above-captioned property. There were no conditions of approval relating to the by-law amendment. The draft By-law has been circulated to, and approved by, the applicant, and was included as Appendix II to Planning and Development Recommendation Report No. PD3-00. Should Council adopt Executive Committee's recommendation for approval at their February 21, 2000 Meeting, Council may consider the attached Zoning By-law later on that same meeting. A Statutory Public Meeting was held for this application on October 21, 1999. Please note that this By-law may be given all three readings at the February 21st Council Meeting, provided Council approves the above-noted application earlier that same Meeting. The purpose and effect of this By-law is to permit one detached dwelling on a lot with a 22.86-metre frontage. If you require clarification, please contact me at extension 2042.
