BY-LAW NO. 5588/99
Being a by-law to authorize the acquisition of that
part of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538, designated as
Part 12, Plan 40R-17151 for open space-hazard
lands.
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 191 and 297 (1) (b) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter
M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing may pass by-laws for acquiring
lands; and
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire from Karen and Grant Farrell,
that part of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538, designated as Part 12, Plan 40R-17151 for nominal
consideration for open space-hazard lands and such acquisition shall be in a manner
satisfactory to the Town Solicitor.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 13th day of December, 1999.
