HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5576/99THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 5576/99 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3037, as amended by By-law 2325/86, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham in Part' of Lot 2, Plan 40M-1482, in the Town of Picketing. (A 16/99) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing deems it desirable to rezone the subject lands, being Part of Lot 2, Plan 40M-1482, Town of Pickering; AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2325/86, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: SCHEDULE "I" AMENDMENT Schedule "I" to By-law 2325/86, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing from R6 to R5 (Village Residential Zone) the zone designation of the lands being Part of Lot 2, Plan 40M-1482. Accordingly, Schedule 'T' to By-law 2325/86 is replaced with Schedule 'T' attached hereto. e BY-LAW 2325/86 By-law 2325/86, as amended, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as set out in Section 1 above, and as set out in Schedule I attached hereto. Definitions and subject matter not specifically dealt with in this By-law shall be governed by the relevant provisions of By-law 3037, as amended. e EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
