HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5556/99THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 5556/99 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to 'implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham in the North Part of Lot 29, Range 3, B.F.C. (Parts 1 & 2, Plan 40R- 16854), in the Town of Picketing. (A 18/99) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing passed By-law 5438/99, on February 1, 1999, amending By-law 3036, as amended, to impose an "(H)" holding symbol on certain lands, including the North Part of Lot 29, Range 3 B.F.C. (Parts 1 & 2, Plan 40R-16854), in the Town of Picketing; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing now deems it desirable to further amend By-law 3036, as amended, to remove the "(H)" holding symbol on the subject lands; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: TOWN OF 1. SCHEDULE Schedules 'T' and "II" to By-law 5438/99 are hereby further amended by removing the "(H)" holding symbol preceding the zone category "MU-10" on the North Part of Lot 29, Range 3, B.F.C. (Parts 1 & 2, Plan 40R-16854), in the Town of Pickering, as set out in Schedules 'T' and "II" attached hereto. 2. TEXT AMENDMENT Section 5(4) of By-law 5438/99 is hereby repealed. BY-LAW 3036 By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as it applies to the area set out in Schedules 'T' and "II" attached hereto. Definitions and subject matters not specifically dealt with in this By-law shall be governed by relevant provisions of By-law 3036, as amended. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof.
