BY-LAW NO. 5549/99
Being a by-law to authorize the renewal of
an Agreement for the lease of space at the
Pickering Recreation Complex for a
wellness clinic.
WHEREAS, on June 15, 1998, Council passed Resolution 106/98, item 7 of which
accepted the proposal to RFP 4-98 submitted by Joints'N Things Inc. for construction and
lease of space at the Pickering Recreation Complex for a wellness clinic;
AND WHEREAS, pursuant to that Resolution a Lease Agreement was entered into
between Joints'N Things Inc. and the Town;
AND WHEREAS, the Term of that Agreement has now expired and the parties are
desirous of renewing the Lease for a two-year period;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of The Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a renewal Lease
Agreement, between The Corporation of the Town of Pickering and Joints'N
Things inc. for a two year period in the form attached hereto as Schedule A.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21 st day of September
1999.
