BY-LAW NO. 5523/99
Being a by-law to authorize the acquisition of those parts
of Lot 19, Concession 8, Pickering designated as Parts 1
and 2, Plan 40R-19493 for future road purposes.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 191(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter
M.45, the Council of the The Corporation of the Town of Picketing may pass by-laws for acquiring any
land or interest therein for the purposes of the corporation;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire from the Regional Municipality of
Durham, those parts of Lot 19, Concession 8, Picketing, designated as Parts 1 and 2, Plan 40R-
19493 for future road purposes.
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all other documentation required to effect
the acquisition of these lands.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 28th day of June, 1999.
