BY-LAW NO. 5522/99
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Transfer of
Easement from The Corporation of the Town of Pickering
to 1121687 Ontario Limited over that part of Lot 19,
Concession 8, Pickering, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-
19423.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 191 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. M.45,
the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing may pass by-laws for disposing of interests in
lands owned by it;
WHEREAS, The Corporation of the Town of Picketing wishes to transfer an easement over that part of
Lot 19, Concession 8, Picketing, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-19423 to 1121687 Ontario Limited for
the purpose of using the water from the drilled well located thereon;
WHEREAS, The Corporation of the Town of Pickering is willing to grant 1121687 Ontario Limited an
easement over that part of Lot 19, Concession 8, Pickering, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-19423,
Picketing subject to certain terms and conditions; and
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer of Easement from The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing to 1121687 Ontario Limited over that part of Lot 19,
Concession 8, Picketing, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-19423 for the purpose of sharing and
maintaining water services which transfer shall be subject to the terms and conditions, more
particularly set out on Schedule C attached hereto.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 28th day of June, 1999.
