HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5521/99THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 5521/99 Being a by-law to authorize the acquisition of that part of Lot 30, Concession 4, Picketing, designated as Part 13, Plan 40R-18997 for road widening purposes (Golf Club Road). WHEREAS, pursuant to section 191 and 297 (1) (b) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering may pass by-laws for acquiring lands; and WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Picketing requires that part of Lot 30, Concession 4, Picketing, designated as Part 13, Plan 40R-18997 for public road purposes; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire from Ontario Realty Corporation, that Part of Lot 30, Concession 4, Picketing, designated as Part 13, Plan 40R-18997, for nominal consideration, for road purposes.
