HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5503/99THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 5 5 0 3/9 9 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of Durham in Lot 21, Plan 819, in the Town of Picketing. (A 20/98) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing deems it desirable to permit the severance of the of the subject lands, being Lot 21, Plan 819, Town of Picketing; into two lots with minimum frontages of 15.0 metres; AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT Schedule "A" to By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended by altering from R3 (Residential Detached Dwelling - Third Density Zone) to R4 (Residential Detached Dwelling - Fourth Density Zone) the zone designation of the lands designated "R4" on Schedule "I" attached hereto, being Lot 21, Plan 819. 2. BY-LAW 3036 By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as set out in Section 1. above, and as set out in Schedule I attached hereto. Definitions and subject matter not specifically dealt with in this By-law shall be governed by the relevant provisions of By-law 3036, as amended. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Council adopted Picketing Official Plan by the Region of Durham, and subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
