BY-LAW NO 5472/99
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Licence
Agreement between Jean Timms and Brian Joseph and The
Corporation of the Town of Pickering respecting the
operation of the pottery studio at the Picketing Recreation
Complex from May 1, 1999 to April 30, 2001
WHEREAS, pursuant to subsection 207(58) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.45, the
Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing may pass by-laws for the operation and
management of places of recreation and similar buildings;
AND WHEREAS, the Picketing Recreation Complex is a place of recreation containing a
pottery studio therein;
AND WHEREAS, Jean Timms and Brian Joseph, wish to enter into the said Licence
Agreement for a term of two years;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Licence Agreement in a
form satisfactory to the Town Solicitor and the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
respecting the operation of the pottery studio at the Pickering Recreation Complex from
May 1, 1999 to April 30, 2001.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this eighth day of March,
1999.
