BY-LAW NO. 5445/99
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2632/88 providing for
the erection of stop signs.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the predecessor of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter H.8, section
137, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-law 2632/88 providing for the
erection of stop signs at intersections on highways under its jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
Schedule I to By-law 2632/88, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the
following item:
Column I
Intersections
Column II
Facing Traffic
Brookshire Square and
Gablehurst Crescent
(South Intersection)
Eastbound on Gablehurst Square
This By-law shall not come into force unless it is approved by the Council of the Regional
Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Regional Municipalities Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter R.8,
section 34.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and fmally passed this 1 st day of February 1999.
