BY-LAW NO. 5399/98
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2366/87,
designating Bonita Avenue as a through highway.
WHEREAS, section 1(1) of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter H.8, defines "through
highways" as a highway or part of a highway designated as such by the Minister or by by-law of
a municipality and provides that every such highway shall be marked by a stop sign or yield sign
or yield right-of-way sign in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry; and
WHEREAS By-Law 2366/87, as amended, provides for the designation of certain highways in
the Town of Picketing as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to further amend By-Law 2366/87;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule A to By-Law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further amended to include the
following:
Highway From T_9_o
Bonita Avenue
Fairport Road
Appleview Road
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day of October, 1998.
