Resolution #127/02
Moved by Councillor Holland
Seconded by Councillor Mclean
That Notice of a Special Meeting of Council pursuant to Section 3 of By-law Number
3665/91 having properly been given and pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1990, c MA5, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a closed meeting to discuss matters of possible
land acquisition and a personnel issue.

That the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering reaffirms its commitment to
participate with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for the purchase of
lands municipally known as 509 Park Crescent and 521 Marksbury Road to a maximum
of $200,000.00.

That the Confidential Report to Council CAO 03-02 concerning the provision of
Legal Services be received.
2.
That Council authorizes the Chief Administrative Officer to proceed to carry out
the process of the provision of legal services for the Corporation of the City of
Pickering as outlined in Option B of Report CAO 03-02.
