BY-LAW NUMBER 4547/94
Being a by-law to appoint persons to various agencies, boards
and committees.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing is required by
certain Provincial statutes to appoint persons to certain local boards and committees or
may establish committees and appoint persons to those committees; and
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following persons are hereby appointed Acting Mayor:
Councillor Brenner from December l, 1994 to November 30, 1995
Councillor Fan' from December l, 1995 to November 30, 1996
Councillor Johnson from December 1, 1996 to November 30, 1997.
2. Councillor Ryan is hereby appointed to the Ajax/Picketing Hospital Board for a
term to expire on November 30, 1997.
3. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Picketing Cemetery
Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:
Mayor Arthurs
Councillor Brenner
Councillor Farr
Councillor Johnson
Councillor Pisttitto
Councillor Ryan
Councillor Senis
4. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Committee of Adjustment for
the noted terms:
Councillor Johnson from December I, 1994 to November 30, 1995
Nunzio Di Lecce from December 1, 1994 to November 30, 1997
Scott Smith "
Paul White "
Carl Young "
5. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Picketing Community
Centres Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:

Councillor Brenner
Councillor Farr
Councillor Johnson
Councillor Pistritto
Councillor Ryan
Councillor Senis
6. The following persons are hereby appointed as Fenceviewers for a term to expire
on November 30, 1997:

7. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Local Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee, known as Heritage Picketing, for a term to
expire on November 30, 1997:

8. The following persons are hereby appointed as Livestock Valuers for a term to

11. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Picketing Museum
Management Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:

12. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Performance Appraisal
Committee for a term to expire on November 30. 1997:

13. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Personnel Committee for a term
to expire on November 30, 1997:

14. Councillor Ryan is hereby appointed as the Council's liaison to Picketing-Ajax
Citizens Together (PACT) for a term to expire on November 30, 1997.
15. Councillor Johnson is hereby appointed to the Picketing, Ajax and Whitby Joint
Animal Control Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1997.
16. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Picketing Hydro-Electric
Commission for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:

17. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Picketing Transit Citizens'
Advisory Committee for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:

18. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Property Standards Committee
for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:

19. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Town of Picketing Public
Library Board for a term to expire on November 30, 1997:
Jacqueline Smart and Bill Boyes as representatives of the Durham Board of
Education
Peter Gilbert as a representative of the Durham Region Roman Catholic Separate
School Board

20. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Site Plan Committee for a term

21. Councillor Senis is hereby appointed to the Social Development Council for a term
to expire on November 30, 1997.
