BY-LAW NO. 4517/94
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1562/82 temporarily
closing roads for construction purposes (Glendale Drive,
Sheppard Avenue and Fairport Road).
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the predecessor of section 208.43 of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted By-law
1562/82, providing for the temporary closing of roads under the jurisdiction of the Town for
construction purposes, and it is necessary to amend that By-law in certain respects;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule A to By-law 1562/82 is hereby amended by adding thereto Items 172 to 174 both
inclusive, set out in Schedule I to this by-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 17th day of October, 1994.

· On Glendale Drive between Kingslon Road and Glenarma Road to urbanize the
street, and future wideningnorth along the street
Road Resloration (excavation, granular base, asphalt, ~d cusblguller)
,, On Bronte Square from Glendale Drive westerly 70 metres, to restore the road
over the sewer
Installation of Sidewalk
· between Kingston Road and Olenanna Road
· to be Iocaled on the east boulevard of Glendale Drive
Complete Landscape Restoration (grading, sodding, and fencing where required) · to all areas affecled

CONSTRUCTION DURATION:

CONSTRUCTION INCLUDES:

· On Falrport Road, belwccn Kingslon Road and the C.N.R. Train Trestle to
facilitate road drainage and future servicing for homes further north along the
street
Installation of Sanitary Sewers
· On Sheppatd Avenue, between Fairport Road and Spruce Hill Drive to provide

Complete Road Reconstruction, Realigmnent & Widening (excavation, granula' base, asphalt,
