HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4469/94 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PI(~KERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4469/94 Being a by-law to appoint a By-law Enforcement Officer for certain purposes (Parking Regulation - 1355 Kingston Road - Picketing Town Centre Holdings Incorporated Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, chapter PI5, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKEKING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The followin8 person is hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officer in and for the Town of Picketing and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1355 Kingston Road - Picketing Town Centre Holdings Incorporated, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law: David Sulston 2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section I. 3. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in section I hereof ceasing to be an employee of Bramalea Limited and Omers Realty Corporation or upon Bramalea Limited and Omers Realty Corporation ceasing to be owners of Picketing Town Centre Holdings Incorporated, whichever shall occur first. By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 2nd day of August, 1994.
