BY-LAW NO. 4415/94
Being a by-law to amend By-law 4414/94, authorizing
the acquisition of Part Lot 18, Concession 8, Picketing
[Lot 22, Plan 43, Picketing (Claremont)] for parkland
purposes (Claremont Community Park).
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1994, pursuant to the provisions of section 191(1) of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering passed By-law
4414/94 authorizing the acquisition of Part Lot 18, Concession 8, Pickering [Lot 22, Plan 43, Pickering
(Claremont)] for parkland purposes (Claremont Community Park) at a cost not to exceed $165,000; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to amend By-law 4414/94 to provide that that acquisition may be made at a
cost not to exceed $170,000;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Section I of By-law 4414/94 is hereby revoked and the following substituted for it:
1. The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire part of Lot 18, Concession 8,
Pickering, being Lot 22, Plan 43, Pickering (Claremont), for parkland purposes (Claremont
Community Park), at a cost to the Corporation not to exceed $170,000.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 22nd day of April, 1994.

THE VENDOR ~epr~s~nt~ and warrants, to the Purchaser that daring th~ t~ th~
Vendo~ has owned the property, the Vendor has not caused any b~d~g on the property
to be insulated w~h ~u~ation containing ur~forma~dehyde, and that to th~ best
t~ Vendor's knowledge, no budding on th~ property confabs ~ulat~n that cont~ns
ureaformaldehyde. This warranty ~ha~ surviv~ and not merg~ on th~ ~omp~n
this transaction, and if the budding is ~a~t of a multiple un~ bu~d~g, this
warranty 6ha[~ only apply to tha~ par~ of the bu~d~g ~hich i~ ~ubjgct to this
transaction.
Pursuant to th~ municipa~ FREEDOM OF INFORMATION AND PROTECTION OF PRIVACY ACT,
the Vendor COhOrt6 to the municipa~y and any and a~ public ~i~ haves
jurisdiction disclosing any informa~on w~hin th~ contro~ conc~r~g t~ proper~y.
