HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4415/94 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 4415/94 Being a by-law to amend By-law 4414/94, authorizing the acquisition of Part Lot 18, Concession 8, Picketing [Lot 22, Plan 43, Picketing (Claremont)] for parkland purposes (Claremont Community Park). WHEREAS, on April 18, 1994, pursuant to the provisions of section 191(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering passed By-law 4414/94 authorizing the acquisition of Part Lot 18, Concession 8, Pickering [Lot 22, Plan 43, Pickering (Claremont)] for parkland purposes (Claremont Community Park) at a cost not to exceed $165,000; and WHEREAS it is necessary to amend By-law 4414/94 to provide that that acquisition may be made at a cost not to exceed $170,000; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. Section I of By-law 4414/94 is hereby revoked and the following substituted for it: 1. The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire part of Lot 18, Concession 8, Pickering, being Lot 22, Plan 43, Pickering (Claremont), for parkland purposes (Claremont Community Park), at a cost to the Corporation not to exceed $170,000.
